What Is Hydrogen Water?
Hydrogen water is regular purified water that has been infused with dissolved molecular hydrogen gas (H2). The hydrogen gas is dissolved into the water through an electrolysis process, using platinum-coated electrodes to generate and dissolve H2 directly into the purified water.

How Intact Hydrogen Water Systems Work
Intact Water hydrogen water dispensers combine three layers of technology to deliver clean, purified, hydrogen-rich water from standard Malaysian tap water.
Stage 1: RO Filtration (Reverse Osmosis)
The incoming tap water is first processed through a Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane, which removes dissolved solids, chlorine, heavy metals, bacteria, and other contaminants. RO filtration produces highly purified water with significantly reduced Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), creating a clean base before hydrogen infusion.
Stage 2: UV Sterilization
After RO filtration, the purified water passes through a UV (ultraviolet) sterilization stage. UV light destroys the DNA of bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms that may remain after filtration, providing an additional layer of safety without the use of chemicals.
Stage 3: Platinum Hydrogen Infusion
The final stage uses platinum hydrogen technology, where platinum-coated electrodes split water molecules through electrolysis to generate molecular hydrogen (H2). The dissolved H2 is then infused into the purified water before dispensing. Platinum electrodes are used in this process because platinum is highly stable, resistant to corrosion, and effective as a catalyst for hydrogen generation.
